Summers are here; wear your lehenga smartly to beat the heat!

Wearing a 30 kilo lehenga or bridal skirt at your wedding is not smart way. Summers are here and you need to do something ‘out of the box’ which will help you to stay up in the coming sultry weather, take part in all the rituals and functions brightly as then none of your photo shoots can capture your best and fresh candid shot. Gone, are the days, when ladies in the country choose to wear their mom’s or grandmothers pick which were more 30kilo, worn with gold and silver emblem and zari with pearl and Meena work with a kilo heavy jewelry.

Nowadays, girls can manage and go forth lite lehengas which too look sober and elegant for all the occasions, even your wedding.

Now, going with can-can style of lehengas, many would-be-brides finds out where their wedding would take place and around what time. As you may know that this style of bridal skirts are very voluminous because of their layered frills and fabric. If you come to this Nawabi city of north and hire Weddingorganizer in Lucknow you might get correct advice. Choose your lehenga smartly as if needed you have to walk around, sit and stand-up while wedding rituals continues and God forbid, if the wedding is venue at some beach then almighty can save you. Sushmita Parekh, an IT executive at Kozhikode, Kerala looked exhausted when her bridal lehenga arrived through e-shopping site at her Allahabad residence. It just took her two minutes to say ‘No, it’s too heavy’ and flung herself upon the sofa, after opening the box and taking out the lehenga from it.

Well, it was chosen by her but sadly it was heavy than expected. It was bright brick red colored velvet lehenga with full brocade top and netted dupatta. The skirt had golden embroidery and machinery work with gorgeous heavy zari in the bottom. There was less time to send back the product and ask for alteration so after seeking advice from her mother, Sushmita quickly took the attire to one of the shops at Phaphamau Bazaar. Sushmita said, “As the wedding is in the next month, I should not get nervous but still I cannot sit upon it. It should be less heavy because as promised to my friends I have to dance and reach mandap for jai-mala. And, apart from that it should lessen it volume so that it could use it for future occasion.” Well, we can just say, ‘All the very best for your wedding’.

Now, coming back to the topic, fabrics like net, georgette, chiffon is lite and airy which does not hamper with the movement and gives a flowing look. Make sure that your lehenga does not have any heavy border because then it might make you disturbed and can look grumpy upon you. Picking a leheria or lite weighted lehenga should be your taste than heavy zardozi work.
