A new
evolution gripped the nerves of the whole nation on November 10, 2016 as PM
Narendra Modi announced about demonetization of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 from
midnight of the same day. Well, this announcement washed off the celebration of
many expected marriages in the country. As expected many family members spent
long hours standing in ques in front of banks, many even chosen to take the
wedding card along with them for the procedure to run smoothly, many would be
bride and grooms made their way standing in long line so to support the reason.
Even patients who needed rest prior their operation too added in the list.
Well, this
was the reason and situation of every home, whether big or small, lakhpati,
mediocre or poor! Many like Jyoti and Suraj who were helping their family as
they were getting married and wanted to spend time together before heading for
nuptial knot, stood in the serpentine line to get the money exchange. But, with
the god’s grace many genuine wedding planners in Lucknow still helped
many couples along with their family to accept old currency and delay payment
as most often, banks ran off cash.
The main
heat of the boycotting higher demonetization was felt by wedding sector as the
times was near about wedding season and most of families were involved in the
transaction. Now there are some points which showcase how the business reacted
with the on-flow. When it comes to wedding then arrangement and logistical work
like kanaatwala, phoolwala and other small vendor did not adjusted with
the fact and without them no wedding is ever possible! Many wedding planners even
insisted the client party to adapt online transaction or else everything will
get delayed. On the other side, many even minted many with the flow. Wedding dresses
and clothing wears outlets counted much more as people were flushed to exchange
their old currency, as they were the one accepted the old notes and people did
not bothered to pay much!
By and
large, vendors who were accepting charges through credit cards and online
payment were on top list to ease the pressure of the client. Vendors tied up
with e-wallet Company like MobiKwik and PayTM acted as elixir to the crises
struck client who had wedding at their home in nest 10 days. It was more
helpful because of the new added feature i.e. ‘nearby’ which would pin up
nearby merchants and ATM for smooth functioning of such exuberant payment.
By now, the
situation has improved with the smooth flow of money from ATM and through physically!
